During our 42 years of marriage we built five homes from the ground up and another two from partially finished states----dealing with seven home builders in six different states. We chose Homes by JMC to build our final and by far most complicated custom architect designed home. Our previous experiences taught us some critical items to consider when choosing a builder: • Experience; John Cherveny has been building custom homes for over 30 years. And John has a very experienced and solid office support and field supervision team. • Reputation; 100% of individuals we checked, including some JMC competitors, indicated John had a solid reputation and would built us a quality home. • Quality of workmanship; we viewed some JMC built homes and the quality and attention to detail was very evident. • Owner experience; JMC home owners enjoyed their experiences working with John. • Quality and tenure of JMC sub-contractors; many of JMC sub-contractors have 30 years of experience working with John. He doesn’t just “expect” quality work, he personally “inspects” the work too. • On time performance; we didn’t encounter any owner complaints about lengthy construction time. Our new home is awesome and the experience was the best. There won’t be another new home in our future, but if there was, our friend John and Homes by JMC would be our builder again.
